Do the arts matter to you? What do we want from our artists in a time of crisis?

Join the Genesis Foundation and Bristol Old Vic for the second in the new series of GENESIS CONVERSATIONS, on the subject of ‘Arts in a Time of Crisis’.

Panellists include cultural sector leaders Shami Chakrabarti (human rights lawyer and Chair of The Gate theatre), Sado Jirde (Director of Black South West Network), Vanessa Kisuule (poet), Alan Lane (Artistic Director of Slung Low) and recently announced Angie Bual (Creative Director and Joint CEO, Trigger), with Tom Morris (Artistic Director of Bristol Old Vic from 2009–2022) chairing the event.

Open to anyone working in the arts, to audiences, or those who support the sector through business or public support.

The conversation takes place live on the Courtyard Stage at Bristol Old Vic and will also be available via Live Broadcast. Tickets are free but must be booked in advance.
